Micro forming workshop at Long Beach CA

Let just start with short comment. It's hard to start with something like blog or all other ways of communication between us that we face lately. Social media how they call it now and what used to be seating with friends together after dinner and talk or writing letters to each others. Having Diary and keeping records of daily events is no more or less having your own Blog or I believe so.

So if we or 11:11 better to say like to keep in touch with you who like to follow us we have to start to be more active and give you opportunity to find out what we keep in our gift basket..

It's already late in the night and our third and last day of workshop learning micro forming. We will try to pass more information to you in coming days what we have done in the class with some nice photos to follow.

Tomorrow the day will start with first day of engraving workshop. Same place, same instructors and I believe with dedications to learn we will have fun and try to share with you what we have done in our next posting.

Halloween Sculptural Class!!

I am so excited to start teaching my first Holiday Sculptural Class. Teaching a themed holiday is my favorite, because I get to focus on being creative and best of all helping others. Here are some pictures of my students! They did such a great job in class, I was truly impressed!!!!!

Chicago Cultural Festival

Summer of festivals:

We just had a very successful showing of our 11:11 Jewelry collection at at the Chicago Cultural Festival. This was our 2nd annual showing there, and we really enjoy it. I got to feature my earrings collection for the first time to the public, which seamed to be a hit. That's always good news. As you can see in the pictures above, every earring is a little different and handmade!

Our next festival is going to be at Bash on Wabash the weekend of Sept 4-5 in Chicago, IL. If you are in the area, come on by. If you are not, everything is available at www.elevenelevenjewelry.com.

11:11 is Going Greeeeen!

We have taking the path of being environmentally friendly in every step of our business. We now use all recycled paper, business cards, and marketing tools. It is important to take care of our nature and we hope you jump aboard too!

Some statistics that everyone should be aware of:

Statistically the United States recycles just about 28% of its waste today, which is doubled from what it was a decade ago.

It's a mountain but not as we know it!

Mount Rumpke is the highest point in Ohio at over 1000 feet, it's no Mount Everest; however, Mount Everest is not made up entirely of garbage. Mount Rumpke is literally a mountain of trash and is located in the Rumpke landfill.

Killing Our Trees

There are also some staggering and frightening facts regarding recycling that should cause any human living on this planet to increase their efforts to create positive change.Among these is the rate of the Rain Forests’ being cut down; this is a staggering 100 acres per minute!
